Slip Assignment
Boones Ferry Marina (The Marina) assigns one boat moorage slip per customer. Marina slip assignments are non-transferable and non-refundable. They may not be rented or sold and are for the calendar year indicated. Slip holder agrees to moor only the boat registered with The Marina and agrees to email a change of boat request to The Marina at info@boonesferrylanding.com
before mooring an unregistered boat. The Marina will make every effort to accommodate requests for location changes during the renewal season. Cancellations and location changes are subject to a $200 fee. All slip agreements expire on December 31st of each year and new agreements are required each calendar year. The Marina has the right to refuse agreement renewal for any reason. Requirements
All boats and marina slips must be kept in good working order, be operational, be kept clean and in good appearance at all times. This agreement prohibits attaching material of any kind to the dock or finger piers. All boat lifts require marina management approval prior to install.
Liability
The Marina provides the assigned moorage in its present condition and slip holders agree to accept the assigned moorage in its present condition, as is, and agree that The Marina shall not be responsible for any losses or damage of any kind to the slip holder and/or their property. Slip holder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Marina from and against losses and damages of any kind, liability, cost and expenses which slip holder may sustain or bear to which it may be put, resulting in any manner from the occupancy of said premises by the slip holder or the slip holder invitees regardless of any negligence of The Marina. Slip holders are subject to fees associated with repairing or replacing any damage to the marina, assigned slip space and dock box. Slip holders shall carry insurance against loss by fire, theft, windstorm, and any other damage or loss that may occur during agreement period.
Parking Permits Required
The Marina provides slip holders with close-in parking to our moorage. Each slip holder is provided two parking permits each season. To ensure that slip holders have parking available when needed, The Marina contracts with a tow company to randomly patrol the lots and remove vehicles that do not display a current permit. Slip holder agrees to ensure a valid permit is visible to tow truck drivers who will look at the driver’s front windshield. There is a possibility that a slip holder’s vehicle will be removed from the lot if it does not display a Boones Ferry Marina Permit when parked there. Any slip holder who for ANY reason is without a parking permit should use the pay to park lots to avoid being towed.
Fuel
The Marina provides fueling services at the Fuel Dock during posted business hours. These hours of operation are posted on our website. Slip holders bringing their own fuel to the moorage may do so only on the Fuel Dock. Fuel containers are not permitted in the general moorage area, except on the Fuel Dock.
Termination
The Marina has the right to and slip holder agrees that this agreement may be terminated because of disruptive behavior or violation of the terms of this agreement and that no refund of any unused segment of the dues will be paid. In case it is necessary to institute a suit or action to enforce compliance with any terms of this agreement, slip holder agrees to pay and discharge all The Marina costs and expenses, including attorney fees that arise from enforcing any provision or covenants of this agreement even if no suit is instated.
